Darrin Miller

Founder/ Executive Director

Darrin founded Faithful Fishers and the Living Word Bible School in 2016. He has been a pastor since 2014, been involved in international missions since 2015, and  has started and led successful youth, college, outreach, discipleship, and international ministries, as well as being a professional speaker, musician, and consultant. Darrin holds a Bachelors in Communication Design from Schreiner University and is finishing his Masters in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. However, he enjoys being home with his wife and six children.

Sean Raybuck

Director of Faithful Fishers Corpus Christi

Sean is married with four children and has a degree in social work. He became Faithful Fishers first Ordained Missionary in 2018 . Previously, Sean spent six years as a youth pastor and was trained as domestic missionary through the No Place Left network. Today, Sean leads Faithful Fishers corpus team while also overseeing around two-dozen apartment missionary teams in partnership with WayForward ministries. Sean has a true pastors heart and gives his attention to building relationship, rightly dividing God's word, and keeping his team on mission.

Kyle and Moriah Johnson

Commissioned Missionaries

Kyle and Moriah Johnson first met during Moriah's 1-year missionary internship. They are both commissioned missionaries with a heart for the gospel and serve in Kerrville, Texas. Kyle studied at Stark Seminary, Moriah has her Bachelors from Liberty University, and they are both first year graduates of the Living Word Bible School.  They both have a heart for missions and were personally involved in planting the first Living Word Bible School in Uganda in 2022 (picture taken in Kazo, Uganda).

Open Positions

International Missions Coordinator

The International Missions Coordinator will build relationships with leaders from various countries, help vet potential new partnerships, plan meetings, and help organization and manage international mission trips. This position is vital to advancing the gospel and critical to the growth of Faithful Fishers internationally. Applicants should have strong organizational skills, be familiar with email, Zoom, and CRMs, and be have good spoken and written communication skills, especially across digital platforms.
Living Word Bible School Instructor

The Living Word Bible School is looking for additional instructors for our courses. Candidates should have a strong passion for teaching God's word, be well organized and willing to learn new curriculum. Applicants should also enjoy challenging conversations and helping students navigate difficult questions. Qualified applicants will be trained on LWBS curriculum, teaching methods, and philosophy and will be asked to co-lead course material before leading classes independently as part of the LWBS team.
Living World Bible School Admin

The Living Word Bible School is looking for a school admin to help recruit new students, organize schedules, grades, and communicate upcoming dates and opportunities. The LWBS admin will be a main contact point for the LWBS in the community as well as for potential students. Applicants should be good communicators, well organized, and have strong interpersonal skills. Experience with email, Zoom, CRMs, and similar tools is necessary.
Student Success Manager

The Student Success Manager will be our students' go-to for Spiritual care and encouragement. Applicants should have a strong pastoral heart with experience offering spiritual care for others. The Spiritual Care Manager will offer prayer, encouragement, advice as students face the many struggles of life, school, and ministry. Student Success Managers will make weekly phone calls and emails to check on students, provide spiritual support, and keep students on track.
Local Missionary

Want to reach your city as part of a bible focused, Spirit led team of missionaries? Faithful Fishers is looking for driven, gospel focused leaders to join our team. Local missionaries will work together to identify mission fields in their area and make plans to engage the lost, equip local believers, and inspire leadership to join the harvest. Faithful Fishers also provides additional training, education, and organizational support to our missionarys to ensure their success.
International Missionary (Full-Time)

Want to serve overseas? We have opportunites to serve as a full-time missionary in Eastern Africa, Asia, Latin Ameica, and the Middle East. Applicants should have a strong background in ministry and biblical education before applying. Otherwise, we have a missionary internship available for those seeking to do overseas missions but who lack the necessary experience and training. Faithful Fishers offers international support, placement, and fundraising for missionaries.
Church Relations Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated person with experience in network and working with church and/or non-profit organizations. The Church Relations Manager will be responsible for networking with new churches and leaders, offering church partnership opportunities, and helping to expand the gospel locally and internationally through church partnerships. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, and be familiar with email communication, Zoom, calendar scheduling, etc.
Short Term Missions Leader

Have desire to work internationally, while still maintaining the U.S. as your home base? You can become a short term missions leader and share the love of missions with people everywhere! Short term missions leaders will learn to recruit other for short term missions around the world, plan trips, flights, and hotel stays, and build relationships with our international partners. This position will allow applicants to travel to countries of their choice with church teams 1-3 times a year depending on their availability and travel preferences.
