2026 LWBS
Thailand Intensive

Two weeks of missions, seminary education, and unforgettable experiences in Northern Thailand.

Experience the mission field in Thailand

Faithful Fishers has been working with Kingdom Mission International in Northern Thailand since 2023.

In partnership with KMI, we have been training leaders from across the Myanmar boarder and sending them back into the mission field. Now, we are taking American students to the mission field of Northern Thailand and letting them experience the rich culture, natural beauty, and amazing need for the gospel in South East Asia for themselves.

During our first annual LWBS Thailand Intensive in 2025, not only did students receive three of our first year seminary courses, but they also heard from international leaders from Thailand, Canada, Pakistan, and Myanmar, and we were able to share the gospel with over 500 buddhist students together and saw many of them come to Christ!

On this trip, students will interact with south-eastern people groups and get to eat their food, hear their language, learn their customs, and see what it looks like to be in a culture where idol worship is still a prominent part of the peoples' daily lives and culture all while growing deeper in their faith and knowledge of God's word.

Classroom Schedule

Students will receive three of the four 1st year courses from the Living Word Bible School (see below). Upon successful completion of our course, students will also be able to take the fourth and final course of the 1st year curriculum for no additional charge when it becomes available in the fall of 2026.

Each student will receive a special certificate of completion for their participation in the LWBS Thailand Intensive. If student also complete the fourth and final course offered in the fall, then they will be able to graduate the 1st Tier of our program with the other 1st year students and will receive a Certificate of New Covenant Ministry, and will also be allowed to proceed to their second year studies if they so choose. Completing all four 1st Tier course is required before enrolling into the 2nd Tier.

1st Year/Tier Courses

  1. The Ministry of the New Covenant (Offered in Thailand)
  2. The Church and Family (Offered in Thailand)
  3. Entering the Harvest (Offered in Thailand)
  4. Spiritual Growth (Offered during the Fall Semester)

Classes will be either at the Kingdom Mission International headquarters or will be hosted in a conference center attached to our group's hotel, depending on group size.

What Will We Learn?

Our LWBS Thailand Intensive is designed to give students a Biblical grounding in theology, healthy church and family practice and worldview, and hands-on missionary training.

In the Ministry of the New Covenant course, students will come to understand the Old Covenant terms, conditions, and the problem it sets forth, the New Covenant terms, conditions, and the way it solves the problem in the Old Covenant, as well as the five elementary principles of Christ as set out in Hebrews 6 including:

  1. Repentance from Dead Works
  2. Doctrine of Baptisms
  3. Laying on of Hands
  4. Resurrection from the Dead
  5. Eternal Judgement

In the Church and Family course, students will take a deep dive into biblical instructions concerning marriage, children, family roles, church offices, spiritual gifts, and more. And finally, in Entering the Harvest, students will learn to share the gospel, make disciples, baptize others, and plant churches in simple and reproducible manners. Classes will be from 9am- 5pm with a lunch break from 12-1:30 pm and bathroom breaks as needed.
Students practice sharing their testimonies with each other as part of our Entering the Harvest course.
