Welcome to Faithful Fishers Corpus Christi!
We have an incredible community here focused on growing healthy as disciples of Christ & learning to conform ourselves to God’s Word. We don’t want to just be hearers of God’s Word, but doers! As we grow together in God's word and through prayer, we seek to put his commandments into practice in our personal lives, in the church, and in the community.
Discipleship and Community Outreach
We encourage and pursue every believer being discipled, and as they grow healthy, learning how to disciple others. We believe Jesus emphasized discipleship and missions, & so we seek to be active in personal discipleship and in serving the community / sharing the gospel through various outreach efforts, including engaging with people in apartment complexes, street ministry, and volunteering at local homeless ministries.
Training and Partnership
We support local churches by providing hands-on evangelism training, as well as strategies to reach their communities. We host Living Word Bible School classes to help Christians grow in sound doctrine & practice. Additionally, we partner with a housing non-profit called WayForward, where our local pastor & missionary, Sean Raybuck, oversees approximately two dozen missionary teams who live at local apartment complexes engaging the unchurched.
